A Collaborative and Compassionate Approach to Counselling
At the heart of my work is the belief that every person holds the capacity for healing and growth, and that with the right support, change becomes possible.
I trained at the highly regarded Bath Centre for Psychotherapy and Counselling (BCPC), earning my Advanced Diploma in Humanistic and Integrative Counselling. My training allows me to draw from a wide range of therapeutic models, tailoring sessions to meet your specific needs and personal challenges.
Alongside my counselling practice, I bring over 30 years of experience as a registered nurse, which gives me a holistic understanding of how emotional and physical well-being are deeply connected. This mind-body awareness helps me support clients who are navigating both emotional distress and the physical impact of stress, anxiety, and trauma.
In our work together, I offer a calm, accepting space where you are free to be yourself, to share your feelings, your story, your hopes, and your challenges. We will work at your pace, focusing on what matters most to you.
I see clients in person at my private therapy room in Stratton, Swindon, with appointments available on Wednesdays and Thursdays.
My sessions are £55 for 50 minutes.
I am a registered member of the BACP and work ethically, confidentially, and with your wellbeing at the centre of our work.

Whether you’re struggling with unresolved trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, or long-standing emotional patterns, counselling can help you begin to make sense of your experiences and move towards healing.

How I Work
Using a humanistic and integrative approach, I tailor therapy to your individual experience. You are not expected to fit into a model; rather, we work together to explore what’s happening for you. My practice draws on:
Humanistic Therapy: respecting your unique experience, fostering self-awareness, and building confidence in your own strengths and abilities
Integrative Counselling: blending a range of therapeutic methods to address both past and present challenges, emotional patterns, and relational difficulties
Mind-Body Awareness: recognising how emotional pain often lives in the body, supporting you in gently restoring a sense of balance and calm
Relational Depth: building a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship where you can feel fully heard, accepted, and supported
Therapy can offer you a place to feel understood, to gently explore the layers of your experience, gain clarity, and develop the emotional resilience to move forward. My role is to walk alongside you, offering support, reflection, and empathy as you reconnect with your sense of self and strength.
